STRUCTURE DESCRIPTION
An ancient Tuscan farmhouse of the end of the XVIII century, situated in the heart of Crete Senesi, surrounded by the green of the Tuscan country, in a place rich in history, art and centuries –old traditions, perfumes and flowers which alternate according to the season: this is the farmhouse “ San Lorenzo”, in the province of Siena. The farmhouse is situated on a hill, surrounded by cypresses, where you can gaze at the Crete Senesi and a 360° panorama of the country as far as the eye can see. Thanks to the panoramic position of the Farmhouse “San Lorenzo”, it is possible to catch sight of Montalcino, Mount Amiata, Buonconvento, Chiusure, the area of Monte Oliveto, the Val d’Orcia and the wonderful Siena. What has taken us to recreate in an abandoned farmhouse the life, the emotions and the hopes, has been inspired by strong and far sensations, coming from the country life of the “ Gragnoli” family, which, by this time, goes on from three generations. A real farmhouse where traditions are still alive, like the traditional cooking of “Mamma” Adriana with her wood oven and her hand-made pasta, just as grandmothers did. A real farmhouse for those who are looking for a holiday in contact with nature, where you will be enchanted by gooses and other animals which, walking up and down the farm, lord it.
