Oratorio della Compagnia di Santa Croce
The Oratorio Society of the Holy Cross is a sacred building that is in front of the Basilica next to the church of sant'Agata
The oratory has a homogeneous seventeenth century furniture and decorative all focused on the theme of the Passion of Christ: Steady painted in 1660 by Nasini and the plant of the main altar made from the same period Bernardino Mei and Deifebo Burbarini. The blade of Mei with the Crucified with the Virgin and St. Francis and Sant'Agata, was replaced in late eighteenth and early nineteenth century, with a "Deposition" the workshop of Rutilio Manetti; the sides of two small paintings remain where Deifebo Burbarini represented a Compianto the dead Christ and Resurrection; under the canvas, two ciboria, perhaps century.
Until a few years ago was home to the museum of sacred art.
