La Pianella
Of this beautiful fountain at the crossroads of the main lanes of the historic centre and in front of Palazzo Tolomei; at present, we don’t have any documents about its construction. Probably it dates back to the XIX century and it has been built for being, at the same time, a source of water supply and ornamental fountain. In fact, from the central part, which is into a high basin of water collection, come out four taps with large rosettes in cast iron. Upon this structure there is a large round basin endowed with a central jet and other small jets along the whole circumference. Today it is the meeting place of the young people of the village.
