Montemori
MONTEMORI OF ASCIANO is situated on a promontory southwards, over the Ombrone valley. It is an ancient farmhouse with the annexed church of Santa Maria a Monte Mori of Asciano, from which we have an historical information from a bill of the Pope Alessandro III, which was addressed to one of his parson. It has been for long years and till nowadays, a fortified farm of the Marchesi Bargagli.
