Friday April 25 opening of “Taste of Crete” with the traditional Artichoke Festival

They bud with spring the tastes, fragrances and flavours of the cuisine of Crete Senesi that will flood the squares of Asciano and its region on the occasion of "Taste of Crete", the traditional event organised by the municipality in order to promote and enhance products typical of this corner of Tuscany, on all pecorino of Crete and closures of the artichoke.

For Inaugurare the event will be from Friday 25 April the annual gathering of closures to the streets ", the event that celebrates the taste, tradition and culture enshrined in the famous Artichoke of closures.
For the entire weekendl'associazione "Castle Closings" opens the sailing facilities and market food products where you can enjoy the famous artichoke of this land.
Games, exhibitions and music through the streets of the village will then frame until evening.

Program:

-- On the day of Friday April 25 will be visited exhibitions "Snapshots in Piazza", dedicated to moments of celebration and closures in the past ", exhibition of objects, miniature reproductions and photographs of life.
-- Friday April 25 at 20.30 will be held a concert by Riccardo Tesi with Tuscan folkloric music.

-- Saturday April 26 from 16:30 hours will perform Lou - d Cage, a group of ethnic percussion and experimental protagonists in the street.
-- Saturday 26 April at 17.30, do not miss the tasting Chianina by Slow Food Crete Senesi and end Montepulciano.

-- Sunday April 27 from 10:30 appointment with the "Compass Crete, games and lessons aimed at children to learn to recognize the landscape, orientation through the use of the compass and, in support, a short walk to the discovery of closures.

Games streets, good music and tastings of local products will end the three days of closures.
