The church of the Saint Cross’s Confraternity is a sacred building in the resort of Poggio Santa Cecilia in Rapolano Terme. The small and nice church, today in a bad state and closed to the worship, has the front towards the opposite position of that of the parish-church. It has probably sixteenth-century-origins, as testifies the canvas of the end of the XVI century, maybe by Alessandro Casolani (1552-1607),on the high altar (Saint Helen and the miracle of Saint Macario). Anyway, the inside was restored in the XIX century (1833); on the high wall, it was painted the History of Ester and Assuero, a monochrome by Vincenzo Dei; it was built the choir and it was provided with new furniture.
