The parish is a sacred building in Rapolano Terme. Mentioned since 1029, it has the structure of a basilica with three naves which finish with only an apse and are covered with the wooden in sight structure. The simple prospect of the front is opened by a door with a round arch and a monophora decorated with a small column. The apse presents a nice travertine-covering and it is finished by a circle of small hanging arches which are obtained from an only piece of stone. The bell-tower, with proto-Romanesque elements in the base, has been remade in the modern time in the highest part. On the inside, a fragment of a fresco ”Saint Ansano and the giver ”by a sienese artist of the end of the XIV century, a polychrome terracottaof the first half of the XVI century with the Madonna and Christ Child.
