The church of St. Peter in Poggio Santa Cecilia is a sacred building that is located in Poggio Santa Cecilia in Rapolano Terme.
As evidence of a plaque at the entrance, there was transferred in 1798 of the parish church of Santa Maria in Ferrata, near the castle. The facade is classical, with paraste side and portal stone triangular tympanum crowned by the emblem of Peter Buoninsegni of 1690, which certifies the patronage of the family. The interior, with a single aisle with three altars, has been completely renovated nell'Ottocento. Indeed Twenty years of the nineteenth century was the execution of the main altar stucco, choir, murals tempera with sacred subjects Vincenzo Dei, which have been partially replaced in the presbytery with murals of P. Sorio, dated 1943.
