Castel Verdelli
The castle is composed of two parts probably dating from the same era, but structurally separated. The immense and high fourteenth century palace was built entirely in brick-based shoe. On the south side rise buildings latest attributable to the sixteenth century, but heavily restored in subsequent periods.
Strangely enough of this castle are not direct historical references. What are astonishing because its location is located exactly at the street party from which the only way that can reach comunello medieval Vergelle where was born, according to some sources, the Renaissance painter named THE SODOMA.
In addition, the castle is a short distance from the Church of Pava at which, recent excavations have revealed the remains of medieval buildings and traces of epocaromana.
