The church of San Lorenzo is Monterongriffoli.
Large brick building with a simple roof hut, lost inside, a single nave, the appearance of medieval church to assume a configuration late eighteenth century. In this era dates back devotion to St. Agricola, which is dedicated to the altar right, and Sant'Emidio protector of the earthquake, which is attributed intercession saving the country from a major earthquake. The saint is still celebrated each year, the fourth Sunday of August.
In the church was preserved polyptych the workshop of Duccio di Boninsegna, with the "Madonna and Child between the Saints Augustine Martyr, Leonardo, Marcellino and Lorenzo", now in the Museo Diocesano di Pienza.
