Departing from Siena with the historic steam train. Crossing the Val d'Arbia and the Valle dell'Ombrone you will reach the Monte Antico station, where there will be a 25-minute stop during which it will be possible to take videos or photos of the locomotive while it is manoeuvring and when it will refuel the tender with water.
Then departure towards Asciano, crossing the Val d'Orcia Park, the areas of Brunello di Montalcino and the Crete Senesi.
Arrival in Asciano at approximately 11:40.
Transfer by Minibus (shuttle) to the town of Asciano.
The route can also be done on foot in about 20 minutes (1.6 km).

Time available for a free visit to the Crete Senesi Market, with exhibition and sale of organic agri-food products and local crafts.
Possibility of visiting (for a fee) the town's Museums: Palazzo Corboli Museum and Cassioli Museum.
At 11.30 Free Optional Trekking Route (max 28 people with mandatory reservation):
From Trequanda station to Fattoria Poggio Pinci (about 6 km, accompanied by an environmental guide). The route takes place entirely on the slopes of the Crete Senesi. A shuttle service will be organized from Poggio Pinci to Asciano.
Medium-low difficulty.
At 3:15 pm start of an optional trekking route, free and by reservation, accompanied by an environmental guide, of about 5 km and easy level. We recommend sports clothing, trainers and a water bottle.
5:52 pm departure from Asciano M.O.M. station (town centre) for Siena. Arrival at 6:45 pm
