Two new releases at once; starting Saturday, November 8th, the first booklet about our community is available on Amazon in a bilingual format.
The Memoirs of Bruno Boccini, freely published on cretedenesi.com shortly after his passing.
We believe there is no need to remind you who Bruno was: he was a member of a large farming family still widespread in the area, which was broken up after the Second World War, following the massive abandonment of our countryside.
Boccini, unlike others, remained attached to his youthful farming experience, so much so that he felt the need to recount it in a series of notes.
The booklet of his memoirs arose directly from his notes, organized and interpreted by his friend Giorgio Romi.
Today, after the writing was distributed locally among family and friends, thanks to his friend Samuel Hilt, an American who has taken root both physically and emotionally in Asciano, its contents, accompanied by many photos, have now given rise to a real book, published and sold on Amazon.
For those wishing to purchase it or gift it, this is the link to the page where it can be ordered:

We trust that this pleasant and interesting experience, undertaken voluntarily without any contribution, will not remain a one-off.
