Società Cooperativa Il Tartufo Crete Senesi is headquartered in San Giovanni d'Asso in Via XX Settembre, 15 / a, and was born in October 2008 by a group of truffle, founding members and former members & Outdoors , Association Truffle Senesi.
Our aim is to deal with the sale of the white truffle of the Crete Senesi. While truffles size bigger and more beautiful are sold, the smaller pieces and broken ones are transformed and processed in the laboratory, adjacent to the site above and managed direttamentei, where they are made sauces and creams.
Our main objective is to use exclusively the truffle of the Crete Senesi collected by members and given to the Cooperative, hence the idea of short chain and product traceability. The contributions by shareholders is 2 times per week.
Our members, must necessarily be members of the Association and previously Truffle Senesi and must deliver the product fresh truffle found and collected in areas across the province of Siena and managed by the same Tartufai Senesi.
