Millennial Celebrations: THE SACRED ART

When we talk about works of art linked to the ancient parish church of Sant'Agata, we must predominantly speak of sacred furnishings, because with the two great restorations suffered from the late nineteenth century to the present, the probable frescoes in the church no longer exist, except the two survivors who can still be admired inside.


Of the precious sacred furnishings, predominantly of the Sienese school, most have been turned into a museum for security reasons and to guarantee their preservation.


Precisely for this reason, the exhibition attempts a complete reassembly on the virtual plane with the multimedia station number three, located on a corner of the right transept, next to the main altar.
