La Sporcellata: re-enactment of an important ritual in the peasant life of the past
ASCIANO - Saturday 25 January at 20:00 at the Grand Duke Stables
The evenings on Enzo Magini's story on "La Querce del Boscarello" continue. The next one will be held inside the Grand Duke's Stables on Saturday 25 January at 20.00, in the presence of the Mayor and the Councilor for Culture of the Municipality of Asciano.
The event is part of a cycle, which starts from this book, entitled "The Garden of the Crete. Land of history, rites and suggestions". This project was conceived and implemented by A.R.C.A. together with the Pro Loco Association of Asciano and with the co-organization of the Municipal Administration of Asciano.
After the story by Enzo Magini, who will be able to retrace the salient and curious moments of the rites of peasant civilization, it will be possible to participate in a convivial moment with the "Sporcellata", with which we will be able to taste the ancient flavors of pork, as they were prepared at the interior of the farms in the winters of the early twentieth century.
