AGI - Bruno Segre, partisan, lawyer and journalist, central figure of the Italian Resistance, died last night in Turin at the age of 105. The family announced the news on the occasion of Remembrance Day.
The memory of the president of the Piedmont Region, Alberto Cirio: "Bruno Segre left us: today, on the Day of Remembrance and on the opening day of the judicial year in Turin, where during the years of the racial laws Segre was forbidden to exercise profession of lawyer. His passing is a further warning for all of us to defend, every day, the values of democracy, anti-fascism and freedom."
