You come here as guests and you leave again as friends. Filippo and Rachele Fiorentini invite you in the farm “San Fabiano” and open their home for splendid holidays, dipped into the nature of the Sienese country. The farm “San Fabiano”, belonging to Counts “ Fiorentini”, is situated in the Val d’Arbia, only 12 km from Siena. The castle of “San Fabiano”, built in the XII century from King Angioino, and the small church of 867 A.D., dedicated to San Fabiano, one of the martyrs murdered in the Colosseum, are surrounded by 700 hectares of fields, rich in durum wheat, sunflowers, corn, vineyards oak woods, small lakes and two streams, Arbia and Biena. The farmhouse “Podernovo” is the most ancient of the farm” San Fabiano” and dates back to the late XVII century. It is wonderfully restored and provided with all kind of comforts. Besides the owners’ apartment, it is made up of 4 suites with kitchen and an independent detached house , “ Le Tortore”, all with air conditioner. The old restored stable collects all of them in a medieval atmosphere around the fireplace; it is the perfect place for lunches and relaxing moments for Tuscan cooking’s lessons or musical moments( HI-FI, organ, grand piano...). Outside you could prepare wonderful barbecues or just relax under the pergola. In summer, it is always nice to have a bath in the swimming pool. The days spent in “San Fabiano” can be at the sign of creative leisure, but also for those who would like to fill every moment of their own time, there are a lot of proposals: Tuscan cooking’s lessons, walks on the Tuscan hills, sport ( tennis, golf, swimming, horse riding...), bike trips, visit of the Tuscan cities, visit of the local craftsmen, visit of museums.You come here as guests and you leave again as friends.
