Departure from St. John the parking lot in front of the former elementary school. This route is well marked by crossing the 3 town centers and beautiful landscapes on the top of the valley and the Crete Senesi Asso. After crossing San Giovanni downhill, turn left onto the road that leads to Torrenieri Sinalunga. The trail begins to climb, giving us a nice view of the Fortress of San Giovanni, and then lead to entry of Montisi. Taking on the left, cross the historic center with the opportunity to admire a very quaint town and make a refreshment stop. Montisi left, continue to Trequanda meeting shortly after the majestic ruins of the castle Montelifrè. Continuing, in view of Trequanda you can make a stop in the only furnished pitch, where you can admire a beautiful landscape with the village on Crete on a summit on the right. Continuing, we reach the first houses of Trequanda. Here you turn left to climb to the old windmill in the woods, actually a medieval dovecote. Moving on, you can reach downtown Trequanda and from there take the road to Asciano, characterized by steep descents and climbs. Along this stretch you can enjoy magnificent landscapes, including that relating to Gaul castle on the right. Arrived at the junction of the provincial Pecorile Asciano-San Giovanni, turn left, not before he stopped to observe a vast landscape that sweeps all the Crete to Siena. From here you return to the starting point with a relatively flat path, except for the steep descent that is just before the church in the nearby village of San Tribbio Givanni.Departure from St. John the parking lot in front of the former elementary school.
