Dettagli

Lunghezza del percorso: 10,5 km

Tipologia del fondo: Misto Asfalto/sterrato

Difficoltà: Medio-bassa

The route is almost entirely flat and runs mostly on local roads unpaved touching ancient and picturesque towns. Starting from Monteroni and following the road to Radi, turn left on the driveway for Villa stray, then on Villa di Mezzo, through a fine cultivated country. After crossing the railroad Siena-Grosseto, continue towards the Cassia area of the monument to the police. From here you head Lucignano d'Arbia. After a visit to the beautiful medieval town with its quaint church, you go back to the Cassia and take the fork to Murlo. Shortly after you leaves the main road and take, turn right onto the driveway leading to Quinciano, once a small town of great historical and architectural significance. Here is a small architectural gem: The chapel Pieri Nerli-sile in Gothic. It then continues to walk towards the small rural town of Greppo using an ancient hilly course, belonging to the Francigena road system. Beyond this location, we will start towards the Poggio Cipressino and descend in the direction of Vignale, returning Monteroni. The route is almost entirely flat and runs mostly on local roads unpaved touching ancient and picturesque towns.
