Cippo di Azelio Laschi, Partigiano

The memorial stone was erected on the precise spot where, on 10 June 1944, the seventeen-year-old partisan Azelio Laschi (born on 12 March 1927) fell in combat against the Germans.


His body rests in the Asciano Cemetery.


The Bronze Medal for Military Valor was awarded to his "memory".


The small travertine cippus in the shape of a Christian cross rests on a stone base with a rectangular plan and is located in the middle of a field, near a farmhouse. The epigraph bears the inscription:
