The ancient door which leads to the Serraia valley eastwards is called Porta Serraia and it is situated at the crossroads between the castle wall and the ancient cassero; for this reason it was also called Porta del Cassero. It is also known as Porta Martini or Gori because it is near the nineteenth century Palace Gori Martini, for the building of it were made a lot of works on the Porta.
