Santa Lucia

ASCIANO

The families that dominated the local agricultural scenario, until the Second World War, used to build in their territories a family chapel where, in addition to the carrying out of private religious rites, the owners were buried at the time of the passing.

Santa lucia is a typical example of a country family chapel, similar to many others scattered in the surrounding area, but among the few that still retain the burials of the Tesi, owners of the Monte Sante Marie estate.
