An unmistakable golden stele is outside a curve just before the farmhouse “Mezzavia”, going through the Lauretana Antica from Siena towards Asciano.
It has been erected in memory of Artemio Franchi, UEFA’s President and Capitain of the quarter of the Tower, who died here after a crash.
In the nearness there is a small parking area and an equipped observatory, from which you can admire splendid 360°landscape of the Crete.
