MONTAUTO GIUSEPPI - Casale with parish church (St. Andrew to Montauto) which is adjoining the chapel of St. Bartholomew, de'Frati Casal.
He resides on a hill marl cerulea conchigliare surrounded by ravines, under which flows from the west side Arbia river, and from the south side Ombrone river. In medieval times it was a self Comunello fortified and remained until approximately mid-1700 and then be incorporated in the town of Asciano.
