Castel Rosi
About this castle in the nearness of Buonconvento and surrounded by a wood, we don’t have specific historic information. It seems that it was built in three different periods. The most ancient part is the large tower on the west side. The castle, just as it appears today, is the fruit of the following restructurings, finished in the XIX century. Today, it has been transformed in a villa with a splendid garden at the entrance.
