From attic to the streets. New life for items between the desks of marketplace

Sunday, June 29 from 10 am to 20 furniture, toys and books on display

Objects have long forgotten in garages and cellars buy a new life on benches set up in the streets of the village. Sunday, June 29 in Piazza Garibaldi in Buonconvento (from 10 to 20) is scheduled the first edition of "Soffitte streets," marketplace of old furniture, objects, books and toys that will give tourists and fans find rarity and antiquities from unused years.

You can visit the Museum of Sacred Art of Val d'Arbia, with works from churches in the Val d'Arbia of many of the major artists of Sienese painting tradition as Pietro Lorenzetti, Andrea di Bartolo, Matteo di Giovanni, Simondio Salimbeni, the Museum of sharecropping, the guardian of the past peasant Buonconvento through photos, objects and other original material and the Museum of Mercy, which preserves mainly works of art and liturgical objects, but also health care items dating back to the nineteenth and twentieth century, among them a suitcase with first-aid medicines and glass objects and one of the first ambulances (carrino of sprint) used by the Brotherhood.
