The church of San Lorenzo is Vergelle.
It was originally a subsidiary of Pieve a nearby Pava and religious center of a medieval castle in the village no longer exists, reduced to a few houses, already the baptismal font at the end of the sixteenth century.
The current building, waiting five-seventeenth century, the plaster facade, and paraste side, the triangular tympanum, the portal, and the window frames square brick.
The interior is a Latin cross and barrel vault; right to the altar of Our Lady of the Rosary "was decorated with a painting of the same subject dated 1580, now in the Museo Diocesano di Pienza, while the left is dedicated to Sant'Isidoro Agricola.
