Round of Nebuchadnezzar - Ilprimo Dream of Nebuchadnezzar, narrated by Daniel the prophet, is rappresentatoAlla the right of the "Round of Aristotle." The episode, from the Old Testament, showing what appeared to the king in a dream: a large statue with the head of gold, chest of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay, is destroyed by the fall of a large boulder. Nebuchadnezzar was troubled by a dream, he summoned all the wise men of Babylon, and condemned them to death because they are unable to interpret the meaning of the dream. Only Daniel, was able to explain to the king that the dream anticipated the fall of his kingdom and the coming of the Kingdom of God in this sense, the Dream wants to mean an example of Christian condemnation riches and greed of those who govern, because destined to an inexorable fall.
