Tradizionale ricorrenza religiosa all'origine delle locali feste di Settembre, molto sentita e partecipata dalla popolazione.
Con l'intento di ravvivare la memoria di tutti noi su questo evento e la sua origine, ci è sembrato opportuno pubblicare un fascicoletto che, oltre alle sommarie informazioni sul Crocifisso, in termini di grande opera d'arte, riporti una ricerca storica e di costume sulle origini della ricorrenza e lo svolgimento della festa.
In prevalenza, si tratta dell'estratto di una pubblicazione del prof. Renato Lucatti, realizzata nell'ormai lontano 1986, ma ricca di notizie e riferimenti interessanti.
