Una nuova prova per il fantasioso nobiluomo della Mancia, cavaliere errante, disfacitore di offese, raddrizzatore di torti.
Uno spettacolo teatrale sulle sue gesta, oggi ancor di più è un’impresa donchisciottesca. In un teatro vuoto, dove tutto è a vista, due attrici, quattro musicisti, una scenografa e un tecnico, errano tra le pagine del capolavoro di Cervantes provando a metterle in scena: questa è la prova.
Contro quali mulini a vento si muoveranno? E i giganti?
Che non siano quelli “della montagna”.
Falso, finto, sogno, realtà: forse a pancia vuota e col vento nella testa, due Dulcinee diventano Don Chisciotte e saltano in sella a questa mirabile storia dove, di sicuro, ci piove dentro.
