La Caserma dei Carabinieri
Asciano - Chi conosce la sua storia, piuttosto travagliata?
Costruita nel 1937 con i soldi della soppressa "Società Operai" è stata il centro di potere politico fino al 1945, come Casa del Fascio. Finita la guerra, è stata trasformata per qualche anno in Casa del Popolo.
Con il trasferimento di tutti i beni del disciolto Partito Fascista allo Stato Italiano, la destinazione del complesso, è stata quella di diventare la sede locale dell'Arma dei Carabinieri.
