Baptist in Corsano, a blind 7 km west of Monteroni.
It is situated on a hillside that is an ultimate propagine northern mountain Cascianoa east of the river which flows Fusola.
The location was already the tenth century a farm owned dell'eremo of Montemaggio, from 963 in the allotted Berengario II King of Italy.
Today is a small country mainly consists of villas and farmhouses renovated. There is, however, one witness historic medieval represented by a large fortified tower at the country on the road that comes from Siena. Risultando location very close to the castle of Grotti, comes from thinking that the tower has done more feature observatory on the vast surrounding area, rather than being part of a castle that no longer exists.
