Quante volte, ognuno di noi è passato o si è intrattenuto, per motivi più disparati, nella piazza più bella e rappresentativa dell'anima vera degli ascianesi? Eppure oggi risulta nei fatti una realtà marginalizzata, rispetto alla vita sociale ed economica del nostro paese. Per ricordare a tutti noi cosa è stata ed ha significato per lo sviluppo di Asciano, forse non fa male provare a rivivere, almeno in parte, le sue origini e la sua storia.
